Job summary

NTT DATA BCU, Inc. in Kamloops, BC, is seeking a Client Support Clerk (Deskside) to monitor the IMAC queue and perform basic software installs, hardware moves, and password resets for clients province-wide in the CA-BC region.

The candidate will update the service request system, assist with packaging disposal, and ensure timely ticket closures. A high school diploma with at least one year in customer service, along with basic MS Office skills and reliable transportation, is required.

Qualifications

• Must have a driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Vaccination policy may be requested by Health Authorities.

We are currently seeking a Client Support Clerk (Deskside) - FTR - Kamloops to join our team in Kamloops, British Columbia (CA-BC), Canada (CA).

Purpose of Position

The Client Support clerk monitors the IMAC perform queue throughout the Province in the established ticketing tool for tickets assigned directly to this position. Tickets received to be actioned will consist of requests to install basic software and to move various types of hardware. Client Support Clerks will also respond to requests for client password resets.

Accountabilities

• Install Standard Products or sub-components of Standard Products
• Unpack and set up hardware components and connect to the power receptacle and to the LAN jack within the Client User’s office or workspace and test the device
• Move and prepare for disposal, according to Client direction all packing materials and other associated trash t'o the mutually agreed designated location within the facility
• Update the status of the IMAC Services through to completion within NTT DATA’s service request system
• Perform password resets and update NTT DATA’s service request system accordingly
• Monitor the Capacity Management mailbox
• Update schedules with unplanned absences, OT shifts and other data entry within the system

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and one year of customer service experience, education and /or training
• Experience with Data Entry and Typing skills
• Excellent Communication Skills with English Language proficiency
• Basic Computer Skills in Microsoft Office environment
• Must have Drivers license and reliable personal transportation
• Should the Health Authorities require vaccination, in in accordance with its policies, proof of vaccination may be collected by NTT DATA during in order to comply with their policy
• Must regularly lift machinery, tools, supplies and equipment weighing up to 20 kg.
