Job description

Reporting to the Manager, Client Success, the Client Success Manager plays a critical role in achieving client success goals by managing and expanding relationships with some of Blackline Safety's largest customers and distribution partners. The role involves ensuring clients derive maximum value from our innovative safety solutions. Key priorities include driving growth within client portfolios, executing deals over $1M, and building strategic, long-term relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Identify and pursue growth opportunities within accounts, collaborating with sales management to meet expansion targets.
  2. Establish and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders to ensure long-term satisfaction and growth.
  3. Prepare and deliver tailored business reviews (annual, quarterly) to demonstrate understanding of client needs and account dynamics.
  4. Develop and implement comprehensive customer account plans using project management principles.
  5. Collaborate across teams and with distribution partners to meet customer needs and ensure seamless delivery of solutions.
  6. Proactively address and resolve customer concerns, mobilizing internal resources to enhance satisfaction and product offerings.
  7. Communicate the value and benefits of Blackline's products to customers regularly.
  8. Provide strategic feedback to the product management team on market trends and growth opportunities.
  9. Improve processes for greater efficiency and contribute to the team's success.
  10. Represent Blackline Safety as a trusted advisor, helping clients maximize their safety investments.
  11. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Skills, Qualifications, and Education:
  1. Proven success in business development or account management, with experience closing deals over $1M.
  2. Experience in high-performance sports or team environments demonstrating collaboration and goal orientation.
  3. Strong project management and organizational skills.
  4. Exceptional public speaking and presentation skills, with a track record of engaging diverse audiences.
  5. Proficiency in MS Office (Teams, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with ERP and CRM systems.
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  7. Analytical skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from data.
  8. Experience in gas detection, safety, or related industries is highly desirable.
  9. Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time.
