Alberta Construction Safety Association (ACSA) is seeking a Client Services Representative in Edmonton to deliver exceptional support across phone, email, and shared inboxes. You will guide members through registrations, assist with e-learning issues, and coordinate with internal teams to maintain data integrity.

This role requires a High School Diploma and 1+ years in customer service, with proficiency in CRM/LMS and MS Office.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1+ years in a demanding customer service environment with high-volume calls and data coordination.
  • CRM and LMS software proficiency; strong written and verbal communication; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional service, ensuring smooth registration processes and handling transfers or refunds efficiently.
  • Guide students through registration and facilitate a seamless experience. Provide accurate information on courses, programs, and membership.
  • Offer prompt assistance for e-learning course issues, ensuring uninterrupted learning experiences.
  • Escalate complex technical or service issues as required to ensure timely resolution.
  • Assist individuals with registrations through the NCSO or NHSA designation process.
  • Maintain accurate records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Identify process enhancements and stay updated on best practices for improved service delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address needs and provide administrative support as required.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job description

The Client Services Representative plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer service with a professional, responsible, and supportive approach. This position provides professional and timely support to members across multiple communication channels, including phone, email, and shared inboxes. The role assists members with safety course registrations while ensuring a consistent and positive service experience. Additionally, the representative provides prompt assistance with technical difficulties related to e-learning, virtual instructor-led training (vILT) courses, and LMS accounts.

Duties and responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional service, ensuring smooth registration processes and handling transfers or refunds efficiently.
  • Guide students through registration and facilitate a seamless experience. Provide accurate information on courses, programs, and membership.
  • Offer prompt assistance for e-learning course issues, ensuring uninterrupted learning experiences.
  • Escalate complex technical or service issues as required to ensure timely resolution.
  • Assist individuals with registrations through the NCSO (National Construction Safety Officer) or NHSA (National Health & Safety Administrator) designation process.
  • Maintain accurate records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Identify process enhancements and stay updated on best practices for improved service delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address needs and provide administrative support as required.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Education:
    • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience:
    • 1+ years of related experience in a demanding customer service environment, high-volume phone calls, and data coordination required.
  • Required skills and abilities:
    • Competent in Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) and Learning Management System (LMS) software.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
    • Excels at creative thinking and problem-solving, with the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and empathy.
    • Maintains a high standard of customer service, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a keen eye for detail.
    • Ability to work independently as a strong and contributing member in a team environment.
    • Proven ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume service environment while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and a positive member experience.
Logistics
  • This position requires a 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Occasional weekend work as required to support members experiencing technical difficulties with safety courses.
  • This position is eligible for a hybrid work model (ACSA facility & Edmonton office).
  • Reporting to the Manager of Client Services.
