Job summary

Senior HelpersOkanagan is seeking a Client Services Coordinator to support clients, caregivers and the care team. If you’re a registered HCA, PSW or experienced caregiver with strong communication skills, this is a meaningful role with room to grow.

You will assist with client assessments and care-plan development, coordinate caregiver schedules, maintain records, and help recruit and onboard staff while ensuring compliance and high-quality senior care.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in senior care or a similar role.
• Registered with BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry or eligible.
• Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Client Services Nurse and Supervisor with client assessments and care-plan development as needed.
• Support ongoing communication with clients and families.
• Supervise and support caregivers; help resolve issues as they arise.
• Manage caregiver shift schedules to ensure reliable coverage.
• Provide direct care when needed to maintain continuity for clients.
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
• Handle client inquiries and concerns.
• Assist with caregiver recruitment, onboarding, and training.
• Ensure compliance with provincial regulations and company policies.
• Support community outreach and relationship-building efforts.

What You Bring

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; WellSky experience is an asset
• Reliable transportation and flexibility for occasional evenings/weekends
