Client Service Representative (Medical Administration)

Location: Toronto ProResp

Full-time Permanent Role: 37.5 hrs/week, Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Salaried position: approximately $26/hr to start

We are recruiting for an existing vacancy for a Client Service Representative (CSR). CSRs at ProResp play an essential administrative role in ensuring the success of community respiratory care. We are looking to add to our CSR team. You will interact directly with our patients, coordinating and scheduling our services in the community. Responsibilities also include office administration, billing, account reconciliation, and inventory management. ProResp utilizes advanced technology for real-time management of patient files and referrals via mobile and desktop CRM applications. Your Responsibilities:
  • Intake of new patients and maintenance of electronic patient records
  • Providing high-quality customer service in-person and over the phone in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Serving as the first point of contact for service requests; liaising between patients and staff for appointments, scheduling, products, and information
  • Processing referrals, orders, and triaging priorities as needed
  • Resolving customer concerns with empathy and professionalism, following established procedures
  • Processing client purchases, invoicing, and managing accounts receivable
  • Maintaining inventory of respiratory products, equipment, office supplies, and participating in inventory counts
Role Requirements:
  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in front-line administrative support
  • Strong skills in office procedures such as electronic and paper record management, invoicing, accounts receivable, and inventory control
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with sensitivity to patient and referral source needs
  • Demonstrated self-management and motivation, capable of working independently and as part of a team
  • Medical terminology knowledge/education is an asset

Education: High School diploma required; post-secondary education preferred.
