Qualifications

  • Mindestens zwei Jahre Erfahrung im Kundenservice, idealerweise im Gesundheitswesen.
  • Starke Kommunikationsfähigkeiten in Englisch, sowohl schriftlich als auch mündlich.

Primary Responsibilities
  1. Communicate professionally with patients, families, staff, and funder organizations.
  2. Process funder referrals and updates in the EMR (Procura).
  3. Collaborate with Supervisors, field employees, and patients to assess service needs.
  4. Assign care providers based on client needs, location, staff skills, and availability.
  5. Ensure consistent caregiver assignments and service delivery.
  6. Keep patients and staff informed of schedules.
  7. Optimize staff schedules to meet availability and care needs.
  8. Maintain accurate records in the EMR.
  9. Address patient concerns promptly and follow escalation pathways.

This position is to cover a 12-month maternity leave.

Education
  • Secondary School Diploma.
  • Completion of related certificates/diplomas such as Medical Terminology or Office Administration is preferred.
Experience and Skills
  • At least two years of customer service experience, preferably in healthcare.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and oral.
  • Problem-solving skills with tact and diplomacy.
  • Proficiency in computer skills (Windows, Microsoft Office, internet, EMR).
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Organizational and teamwork skills; ability to work independently.
  • Positive work and attendance record.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport.
  • Advanced keyboarding and scheduling software skills, with willingness to learn.
  • French language skills are an asset and required in Quebec locations.
