Job Description
I. Job Summary
Generates profitable new account revenue by leading a team of Construction Services Sales Representatives. Assists in developing and executing the Market Area’s Sales and Marketing Plan to achieve revenue goals for the Outside Sales channel. Identifies, qualifies, and ranks prospects, and assigns selling responsibilities to the appropriate Construction Services Account Managers, Sales Specialists, and Account Specialists.
II. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.
- Maintains and reinforces the corporate sales strategy and design with the Outside Sales Team.
- Establishes and maintains a high level of customer satisfaction; communicates with Market Area Management to resolve customer issues.
- Demonstrates management and customer service skills to motivate sales team members.
- Implements ongoing training, coaching, and mentoring to develop team skills.
- Supervises activities of team members to meet or exceed sales targets and activity levels.
- Manages and ensures the effective use of sales tools (e.g., Prospect Management, Proposal Program, Pricing Tools).
- Provides industry expertise and interpretation to team members and customers.
- Supports communication and maintenance of pricing and service strategies.
- Interviews and selects qualified candidates for team positions.
III. Supervisory Responsibilities
Direct supervision of 10 full-time employees, including: Account Manager - Construction Sales, Builders Direct Desk Agent, and Construction Sales Specialist.
IV. Qualifications
Must live and work in Canada.
Education and Experience- Bachelor’s degree in Sales/Marketing or similar, or High School Diploma/GED with four years of relevant experience.
- Five years of business-to-business sales experience, including three years of direct sales, cold calling, and prospecting.
- Driver's license required.
- Skills include relationship building, impactful communication, adaptability, analytical thinking, professionalism, leadership, strategic thinking, customer focus, negotiation, diversity leverage, time management, and ethical practices.
Work environment involves office and outside sales settings, with occasional physical effort and exposure to environmental elements.Benefits
