Job summary

TELUS Health is seeking a qualified professional to calculate pension benefits and analyze plan rules in a hybrid work environment. The role involves producing annual statements, validating data, and supporting mandates with a focus on client satisfaction and accuracy.

The ideal candidate has a relevant degree, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication in French (English a plus). Flexible benefits and 3+ weeks vacation are offered.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required in Mathematics, Business, Finance, Actuarial Science or related field.
  • Sharp analytical thinking with attention to detail.
  • Dedicated team player with initiative and independence.

Responsibilities

  • Calculating benefits in line with regulations and laws.
  • Analyzing pension plan rules and applicable regulations.
  • Producing and verifying annual statements.
  • Participating in data analysis and validation of annual/periodic data.
  • Supporting the team on various mandates and projects.
  • Improve client satisfaction by listening and responding to needs of participants and trustees.
  • Suggesting process improvements.

Your responsibilities
  • Calculating various benefits in accordance with applicable regulations and laws
  • Analyzing and interpret pension plan rules and applicable regulations
  • Contributing to the production and verification of annual statements
  • Participating in the analysis and validation of annual and/or periodic data
  • Supporting the team in carrying out various mandates and special projects
  • Increasing our clients' satisfaction by listening to their needs and responding to their various requests as well as those of the participants and trustees
  • Suggesting improvements to our various processes
Qualifications required
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Business, Finance, Actuarial Science or another relevant field of study
  • Sharp analytical thinking and attention to details
  • Dedicated team player who demonstrates initiative and independence
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in French; English would be an asset
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Salary Range: $ 40,000 - $60,000

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience.
