Job summary

Citco is seeking an experienced Transformation Office leader in Canada to drive investor relations, AML/KYC transformations, and process optimization. You will collaborate with senior stakeholders, guide project teams, and deliver technology-enabled improvements across client engagements.

The role emphasizes leadership, strategic thinking, and strong communication to manage remote teams and complex programs within a global asset servicing context.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years’ relevant industry experience within Investor Relations, AML, KYC, Compliance.
• Strong client-facing experience with senior stakeholders.
• Transformation mindset with experience changing processes and implementing tech.
• Strategic mindset to translate goals into actionable plans.
• In-depth knowledge of compliance including KYC and AML policies; Cayman AML an advantage.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support transformation initiatives across investor relations, transfer agency, AML, and KYC, driving process optimization.
• Deliver client transformation engagements with client SMEs and Business Leads, translating objectives into plans.
• Oversee client engagements, coordinating delivery and elevating risks and decisions as appropriate.
• Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and integration to improve processes.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and teams to guide and impart knowledge.
• Assist with business requirements sign-off, testing, and development sign-off for initiatives.

Responsibilities

Your Role:

• Support transformation initiatives across investor relations, transfer agency, AML, and KYC, helping to drive process optimization & operational efficiency
• Deliver client transformation engagements in collaboration with client stakeholders and the wider Citco business (SMEs and Business Leads) translating agreed objectives into practical implementation plans
• Support the SVP/EVP in overseeing a dedicated client engagement, working directly with client stakeholders to understand priorities, manage day-to-day expectations, coordinate delivery, and elevate key risks and decisions as appropriate
• Identify opportunities that can be used (e.g. automation, standardization, simplification, and integration) to solve business obstacles and to improve existing business processes
• Provide subject matter expertise around investor relations and/or AML/KYC
• Work closely with Business Analysts and broader project and business teams to guide, teach and impart specialized knowledge
• Assist with business requirements sign-off, testing, and development sign-off for initiatives in your specialized area
• Collaborate with leadership to identify and prioritize key areas for transformation, ensuring a strategic and cohesive approach
• Work directly with Business Development to play an active role in client pitches by effectively demonstrating and communicating Transformation Office’s expertise, best practices and technological solutions
• Maintain a proactive approach to staying up-to-date on industry changes and technology advancements
• Highlight areas of risk, contributing to meetings and overall project reporting via project manager
• Lead and mentor junior team members to foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the Transformation Office
• Strong stakeholder management, analytical and illustrative skills, and communication are essential

Qualifications

About You:

• 8 - 10 years’ relevant industry experience within Investor Relations, AML, KYC, Compliance, including experience delivering operational or transformation initiatives.
• Professional Certificate, Bachelor, Master level degree
• Strong client-facing experience, with the confidence to engage directly with senior stakeholders and take ownership of service outcomes
• A transformation mindset, with experience challenging established processes and implementing technology-enabled improvements
• Strategic mindset with the ability to translate business goals into actionable plans
• In-depth knowledge of compliance and regulatory issues including Know Your Customer (KYC) and anti-money laundering policies; Cayman AML an advantage
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a leadership role and managing teams remotely
