Scotiabank is offering a GBM - Client Insights & Analytics Internship/Co-op for Fall 2027 in Toronto. The 12-month term runs Sept 2027–Aug 2028 with a 37.5-hour work week. The role focuses on report engineering, data analytics, and supporting CRM adoption, partnering with Corporate & Investment Banking, Capital Markets, and related teams.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in post-secondary education.
• Shows enthusiasm for learning and international experience.
• Interested in capital markets and wholesale banking.
• Experience working on a major project in a team.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and matrix-based environment.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Advanced experience with Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist report engineering, data analytics and data engineering efforts.
• Collaborate with relationship managers across business lines (Corporate & Investment Banking, Capital Markets, Global Business Payments, International Corporate & Commercial Banking).
• Help leverage client data to identify opportunities.
• Support adoption and enhancement of the CRM system.
• Attend program meetings and facilitate organization and follow-up.
