Scotiabank is seeking a Global Banking and Markets Equity Research Intern for Winter 2027 in Toronto. You will support analysts with financial models, market research and industry analysis while gaining exposure to capital markets and presentations

The role requires ongoing enrollment in post-secondary education with a passion for learning, strong accounting and math skills, and excellent Excel/PowerPoint abilities for data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in post-secondary education (Undergrad/MBA/Masters).
• Strong accounting, analytical and math skills.
• Excellent Excel, PowerPoint and financial modeling abilities.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain financial models and industry databases.
• Generate tables and graphs for research publications and presentations.
• Conduct primary research from industry and financial sources.
