Job summary

BMO Financial Group is seeking a customer-focused professional in Markham, Ontario to deliver exceptional service and guidance on financial solutions. You will collaborate with branch partners to grow customer relationships and guide customers through digital and self-serve options for fast, easy banking.

Role involves needs-based conversations about personal banking and credit cards, with emphasis on accuracy, compliance, and teamwork within a dynamic branch environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of relevant experience and/or certification in related field.
• Canada-only: Registration to sell investment products completed or in progress (within 12 months).
• Confident and experienced with social media, tablets, smartphones, online tools and applications.
• Some experience in consultative customer service or sales roles with a drive to deliver a personal customer experience.
• Basic knowledge of specialized sales and business banking solutions to refer to specialists.
• Strong commitment to helping customers and delivering a personal experience.
• Ability to thrive in a consultative sales and team-based environment.
• Resourceful self-starter with courage to approach customers.
• Readiness to collaborate across roles and teams.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers.
• Good verbal and written communication; good organization and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Delivers exceptional service and identifies customer needs with guidance on financial solutions.
• Collaborates with partners to identify referrals that grow customer relationships beyond personal banking.
• Guides customers in branch and through digital options for quick banking.

• Maintains accurate and complete customer information and documents.
