Job summary

MNP is seeking a Manager to join our Assurance & Accounting team in Canada. You will lead client-facing engagement teams across audits, tax engagements and financial reporting, delivering high-quality services to help clients make informed decisions.

The successful candidate holds a CPA designation with 4–6 years of public accounting experience, strong leadership, and the ability to develop client relationships while guiding teams through planning, execution and delivery.

Qualifications

• CPA designation and 4–6 years of public accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of business, accounting, management and practice development.
• Proven people management, relationship building and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead client-facing engagement teams on audits, compliance tax engagements, budgeting, internal controls and financial/accounting transactions.
• Deliver industry and technical expertise in audit and assurance through client interactions, reports and management presentations.
• Manage a portfolio of clients, understand their business and risks, and grow relationships and accounts.
• Plan engagements and manage project financials including budgets, WIPS, billing and collections.
• Maintain quality control and address issues related to client’s business, entries and reports.
• Network in the local business community and contribute to competitive proposals.
• Mentor and coach team members for professional development and performance reviews.
• Maintain flexibility to travel as necessary.
