HUB International in British Columbia is hiring an Auto Insurance Trainee to actively sell ICBC and private auto insurance, build relationships with clients and dealership partners, and meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets.

No insurance experience? Full training and support to earn Level 1 General Insurance License within 30 days. This role offers growth, a collaborative, high-energy environment, and a compensation package including benefits and potential bonuses.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, teammates, and auto dealership partners.
• Actively promote and sell ICBC and private auto insurance products to meet and exceed targets.
• Process a variety of auto insurance transactions (renewals, new plates, transfers, cancellations, debt payments).
• Upsell and cross-sell additional insurance products to add value for clients and drive performance metrics.
• Support the branch by handling phone calls, administrative tasks, and restocking inventory.

A Day in the Life

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, teammates, and auto dealership partners

Actively promote and sell ICBC and private insurance products to meet and exceed daily/weekly/monthly sales targets

Salary Expectations –

The expected salary range for this position is $41,600 to $45,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope, and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include extended health benefits, disability insurance, RRSP matching, paid-time-off benefits, and eligible bonuses, and commissions for some positions.
