Job summary

HUB International is seeking an Auto Insurance Trainee in British Columbia. You will actively sell ICBC and private auto insurance while building strong client relationships and meeting sales targets.

Full training is provided to help you earn your Level 1 General Insurance License within the first 30 days. You will engage with auto dealership partners, process insurance transactions, and upsell additional products.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Level 1 Insurance License is an asset—but not required; training provided to earn within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, teammates and dealership partners.
• Actively promote and sell ICBC and private insurance products to meet/exceed sales targets.
• Process a variety of auto insurance transactions (renewals, transfers, cancellations, etc.).
• Upsell and cross-sell additional insurance products to add value and drive performance metrics.

A Day in the Life

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, teammates, and auto dealership partners
• Actively promote and sell ICBC and private insurance products to meet and exceed daily/weekly/monthly sales targets
• Process a variety of auto insurance transactions, including renewals, new plates, transfers, cancellations, debt payments, and more
• Upsell and cross-sell additional insurance products to add value for clients and drive performance metrics
• Support your branch by taking phone calls, managing administrative tasks, and restocking inventory

Salary Expectations

The expected salary range for this position is $41,600 to $45,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope, and level.
