Job summary

Acera Insurance is seeking a Client Advisor for Signature Insurance in Burnaby, BC. This full-time, permanent role involves supporting the Signature Client Executive team with precise policy changes, renewals, and administrative workflow to ensure accuracy and timely service for clients.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2+ years in insurance, a BC Level 2 General Insurance License, and relevant education.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience in the insurance industry with a strong working knowledge of personal lines products.
• Experience servicing Signature Insurance clients would be considered an asset
• BC Level 2 General Insurance License
• Post-secondary degree/diploma/certificate in Business, Sales/Marketing, Risk Management, or related discipline is an asset
• CIP designation is an asset

Responsibilities

• Policy changes and renewals, including mid-term or remarket submissions.
• Proposal creation and correspondence with underwriters.
• Manage and control administrative workflow for client files.
• Verify and review policy information and documentation for errors.
• Advise brokers of errors and request rewrites from underwriters.
• Monitor delays in documents to clients (internal or external).
• Call clients for payment reminders and handle pink card calls.
• Process changes on broker portals and review renewals for missing coverages.
• Set up claims and follow up with clients/adjusters on status of claims.
