Job summary

Acera Insurance Services Ltd. in Fort McMurray, AB is seeking a Client Advisor, Personal Insurance to service a personal book and grow new business. You will handle policy changes, claims reporting and renewal reviews while cross-selling our products and services.

Requirements include 2+ years in insurance, Alberta Level 1 license with potential Level 2, and a relevant degree; CIP is a plus. This full-time role emphasizes client service and relationship building.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience in the insurance industry with a strong working knowledge of personal insurance products.
• Active Alberta Level 1 General Insurance License with the ability to obtain Level 2.
• Post-secondary degree/diploma/certificate in Business, Sales/Marketing, Risk Management or related discipline is an asset.
• CIP designation is considered an asset.

CLIENT ADVISOR, PERSONAL INSURANCE

TheClient Advisor, Personal Insuranceis dedicated to servicing the needs of our personal insurance clientele. In addition, they will successfully manage and grow a specific book of business. Other duties include: facilitating policy changes, claims reporting and advocacy, reviewing existing renewals, generating new business, file reviews, and cross-selling of our products and services.

Fort McMurray, AB

Full-time, permanent

QUALIFICATIONS

2+ years of related experience in the insurance industry with a strong working knowledge of personal insurance products;

Minimum of Alberta Level 1 General Insurance License with the ability to obtain Level 2;

CIP designation, or working towards is considered an asset;

Post-secondary degree/diploma/certificate in Business, Sales/Marketing, Risk Management or related discipline or an equivalent amount of relevant experience in a similar role considered an asset.
