Job summary

Acera Insurance Services Ltd. in Canada invites applications for the Associate, Financial Operations. The role covers full cycle accounting and collaboration with the Finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Reporting to the Team Leader, Financial Operations, you will contribute to month-end close, reconciliations, and the maintenance of financial records in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in Accounting or related discipline with 1–3 years of directly related experience.
• Experience in an insurance environment is an asset.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for full cycle accounting and working with the Finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Support month-end close, reconciliations and financial records maintenance.

ASSOCIATE, FINANCIAL OPERATIONS

Reporting to the Team Leader, Financial Operations, the Associate, Financial Operations will be responsible for full cycle accounting and work with the Finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting.

LOCATION AND STATUS

• Full-time, permanent

QUALIFICATIONS

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in Accounting or a related discipline and 1-3 years directly related experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and education


• Experience in an insurance environment would be considered an asset


• Confident user of the Microsoft Office Suite of products, with advanced skills in Excel
