Bureau Veritas is looking for a Client Account Manager – Environmental Sector to join our environmental laboratory located in Saint-Laurent, QC.

Key Key Responsibilities :

  • Grow our market share by acquiring new accounts and strengthening our presence with existing clients.
  • Understand the technical and regulatory issues that influence purchasing decisions.
  • Participate in industry forums to enhance the company's visibility and reputation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships within the environmental sector.
  • Coordinate prospecting and service activities with internal teams (customer service, operations, marketing, IT, sales).
  • Contribute to the development of sales strategies tailored to individual client accounts.
  • Prepare sales forecasts as part of the annual budgeting process.
  • Collect and share strategic market and competitor information.
  • Support the continuous improvement of customer service processes.
  • Comply with Bureau Veritas' Code of Ethics, quality policies, and health and safety programs.
  • Meet sales targets and growth objectives for the assigned territory.
  • Conduct regular client visits (approximately 80% of the time on the road, with minimal overnight travel).

Profile Sought :

  • Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in a relevant scientific field, or equivalent experience (minimum 5 years in sales and marketing).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in account management or equivalent experience in the environmental sector.
  • Strong technical knowledge in environmental consulting and regulations (a major asset).
  • Ability to write compelling technical proposals.
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
  • Excellent skills in communication, presentation, customer service, and problem-solving.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining a strong team focus.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Energetic, ethical, and motivated to drive positive change.

Working conditions :

  • G eneral office work.
  • Fast paced office environment.
  • The candidate must be willing to work extended hours (or variable schedule) when deemed necessary to accomplish assigned tasks or to organize / attend events.
