Job summary

Linamar Corporation seeks a Clerk - Materials to support inventory tracking, receiving and documentation within our manufacturing facility in Ontario. The role focuses on accurate records, cycle counts, and maintaining purchasing files under standard work instructions.

You will collaborate with teammates to ensure smooth materials flow, perform routine audits, and support NAFTA certification processes. Previous manufacturing and inventory experience is preferred; strong attention to detail is

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing setting, including inventory management.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up to date records of inventory levels.

Responsibility
  • Maintain accurate and up to date records of inventory levels
  • Assist in performing regular inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy of products
  • Assist in receiving, inspecting and documenting of materials movement
  • Update and maintain standard work instructions for the materials department
  • Update and maintain the purchase order files
  • Complete, file and maintain NAFTA certification
Academic/Educational Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, some college or university in supply chain management is an asset
Required Skills/Experience
