Job summary

Covenant Health Canada in Edmonton is seeking a Unit Clerk III to support the Endoscopy department. You will perform clerical duties, coordinate with physicians, nurses and intrahospital partners, and help ensure smooth patient flow in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires a high school diploma, completion of a Unit Clerk course, fluency in English and proficient Microsoft Office skills. One year of health-care experience is preferred.

Description:

The Clerk III provides a wide range of clerical support, with varying duties depending on the specified program/department. The Clerk III performs these tasks in accordance with established standards, and the Mission, Vision, Values, policies and procedures of Covenant Health. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the CUPE 2111 Collective Agreement.

Required Qualifications:

High School diploma or recognized equivalent required.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Completion of a Unit Clerk course and fluency in English Proficient computer skills using Microsoft Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

One (1) year recent related experience in a health care setting desired. Previous experience in a busy operating room environment preferred. Working knowledge of Connect Care Strong understanding of Endoscopy procedures.
