Position: FULL TIME FROZEN/DAIRY DEPARTMENT MANAGER

Responsibilities
  1. Train and motivate staff
  2. Delegate and prioritize workload for staff
  3. Effectively merchandise advertising and promotional programs
  4. Maintain up-to-date information about market trends and competitor activities
  5. Receive, handle, and store products to achieve optimal results
  6. Ensure proper product rotation and pricing integrity
  7. Maintain store cleanliness to appropriate standards
  8. Perform other duties to ensure courteous service, competitive pricing, and hygiene standards
Qualifications and Experience
  • Understanding of critical success factors for the no frills discount food store concept focusing on low prices
  • Knowledge of merchandising standards, inventory management, dealing with suppliers, and invoice checking
  • Excellent communication skills and customer focus
  • Ability to manage people and work independently
  • Physical ability to lift safely
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings
  • Experience with No Frills operations and products
  • Responsibility for store operations in a manager's absence, including key management, loss prevention, health, and safety
