Job summary

University Health Network (UHN) invites applications for a permanent full-time clerical/professional role within the Laboratory Medicine Program, Genome Diagnostics at Toronto General Hospital. You will support pathology teams, manage data, and maintain filing systems while collaborating with hospitals and clinicians.

Qualifications

• Completion of Grade 12 or recognized equivalent required
• Experience with Epic AP lab information system required
• Advanced computer literacy and skills required
• Knowledge and familiarity of genetics terminology required
• Current experience in a diagnostic clinical lab setting preferred
• Experience working in a health care environment preferred
• Genetics background and/or experience preferred
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent telephone, interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Ability to produce work in accordance with Hospital standards
• Ability to use good judgment in assessing difficult situations

Salary: $20.83 to $26.04 per hour

Duties
