Job summary

Merry Maids in Charlottetown, PE is seeking a full-time on-site Cleaning Supervisor to lead a small team. The role starts as soon as possible and involves morning, evening, and weekend shifts with overtime available.

You will hire and train staff, coordinate daily cleaning activities, inspect sites for safety and cleanliness, and liaise with clients and other departments to arrange services as needed. This permanent position requires 1–2 years of relevant experience and a secondary school

Qualifications

• Secondary school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year to less than 2 years of cleaning or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hire and train or arrange for training of cleaning staff.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of workers.
• Inspect sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards.
• Recommend or arrange for additional services such as painting, repairs or renovations.
• Assist cleaners in performing duties.

• Establish work schedules.
• Supervision for a team of 3–4 people.
