Digby Sailboat Suites is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness of guest rooms and common areas in Conway, NS. You will clean, sanitize, change linens, make beds and restock supplies.

This is a full-time, on-site position with opportunities for growth and long-term employment. Salary: $21.00/hour for 60 hours bi-weekly. English required. Start date ASAP. Vacancies: 1.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• English language proficiency.
• Secondary school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
• Dust furniture
• Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture
• Make beds and change sheets
• Distribute clean towels and toiletries
• Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
• Attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies or other items
• Provide basic information on facilities
• Pick up debris and empty trash containers
• Launder clothing and household linens
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
• Shop for food and household supplies
• Wash windows, walls and ceilings
• Clean changing rooms and showers
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns
