Job summary

Olymbec Corporate Group in Montreal seeks a Cleaning Attendant (Heavy Duties) to maintain our buildings. You will ensure hygiene and cleanliness for tenants and visitors, acting as an ambassador for our properties in the city.

Role requires diligence, independence, and team collaboration to perform routine and deep cleaning tasks, including outdoor duties and adherence to health and safety standards. Training will be provided and opportunities exist for growth in property services.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of cleaning experience in commercial and residential buildings.
• General building maintenance certification is an asset.
• Holder of a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Maintain offices and common areas.
• Clean walls, ceilings, light fixtures, windows, and hard-to-reach surfaces.
• Wax and polish floors.
• Mechanical cleaning of surfaces with floor scrubber and polisher.
• Deep clean corridors, entrance halls, stairs and elevators.
• Attend meeting and training rooms; maintain rooftop terrace and outdoor spaces.
• Responsible for outdoor work when needed (snow removal, access points, rooftop).
• Report defects and follow health and safety standards.

Olymbec is looking for a Cleaning Attendant (Heavy Duties) to maintain our buildings in Montreal. The Cleaning Attendant will be responsible for making sure that the building's hygiene and cleanliness remain a top priority. They will help improve the quality of life for our tenants while also acting as an ambassador for our building and the values Olymbec represents. This role requires someone who is diligent, independent, and able to work well in a team to effectively carry out all assigned tasks.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain offices and common areas;
• Clean walls, ceilings, light fixtures, windows, and hard-to-reach surfaces;
• Waxing and polishing floors;
• Mechanical cleaning of surfaces (with floor scrubber, polisher, etc.);
• Deep cleaning of common areas, including in particular corridors, entrance halls, stairs, and elevators;
• Meeting and training rooms (gym);
• Rooftop terrace and other outdoor spaces;
• Indoor parking and other service areas.
• Collect and carry waste, recycling, and other materials;
• Perform outdoor work when needed (e.g., snow removal, maintaining access points and the rooftop);
• Report any defects or situations that require attention;
• Follow health and safety standards;
• All other related tasks.

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS

• Certification or diploma in general building maintenance (an asset);
• Minimum 3 years of experience in cleaning commercial and residential buildings;
• Holder of a valid driver's license and a vehicle;
