Job summary

Dexterra is seeking a reliable Cleaner/Porter for evening shifts in Saskatoon, Canada. The role focuses on maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients and staff, with detailed cleaning across admin and passenger areas.

Responsibilities include cleaning admin offices, hold rooms, and common spaces; wiping tables, dusting ledges, vacuuming floors, and restrooms. Flexibility for occasional events and weekends is required, with safety PPE provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning/janitorial experience preferred.
• High attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.
• WHMIS certification is preferred.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of the admin office area, including all surfaces, fixtures, and equipment.
• Maintain the hold room area, ensuring it meets high standards of cleanliness and organization.
• Wipe down tables and chairs throughout assigned areas after each flight departure.
• Sweep carpets comprehensively following each flight departure to remove debris and maintain appearance.
• Dust window ledges end to end in all assigned areas.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors in common spaces and office areas.
• Empty trash bins and replace liners regularly.
• Dust and wipe surfaces, including desks, equipment, and other fixtures.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenishing supplies as needed.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs or reporting repair needs.
• Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are properly maintained and stored.
• Follow safety guidelines and use appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of meeting rooms or event spaces as needed.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization throughout the facility.
