Job summary

Dexterra is seeking an Alight Duty Cleaner in Vancouver to ensure the cleanliness of facilities to the highest standard. Responsibilities include maintaining floors, cleaning washrooms, and replenishing supplies. A positive attitude, ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and WHMIS certification are important.

Qualifications

• Able to scrub, buff and polish floors.
• Knowledge of stripping and waxing the floor is an asset.
• Able to communicate with supervisor, client and general public.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of floors; vacuum and damp mop as required.
• Clean and sanitize washrooms and common areas.
• Replenish missing supplies like toilet rolls and hand towels.
• Dust office cubicles and clean polished surfaces.
• Spot clean walls, partitions, and window sills.

As an alight duty Cleaner, you will ensure the overall cleanliness of our facilities to the highest level.

Your work will include:

• Maintaining the floors; vacuuming as needed and damp mopping small areas of hard surface floors
• Cleaning and sanitizing that includes washrooms, common and entrance areas
• Replenishing any used or missing supplies (toilet rolls, hand towels, hand soap)
• Dusting office cubicles
• Cleaning and polishing chrome and other polished metal surfaces
• Spot cleaning walls, partitions, light switches and doors, window sills
