BEST Service Pros in Mississauga, ON is seeking a Heavy Duty Custodian to keep buildings clean, presentable, and inviting at all times. You will maintain common areas, washrooms, and surfaces, using a range of cleaning equipment.

The role offers full-time shifts (7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am) with wage ranges of $20.30–$21.45 (morning/afternoon) and $21.45–$22.60 (night). Candidates must pass a Canadian background check; WHMIS is a plus.

Formación

• Must be able to safely operate cleaning equipment and machinery.
• Good physical stamina and mobility.
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
• WHMIS certification is an asset.

• Collect and remove garbage from drop points to a compactor.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in safe condition.
• Monitor and report repairs or replacements as needed.

JOB OVERVIEW

You will be responsible for making sure your building looks clean, presentable, and inviting at all times. Some of the duties and responsibilities include maintaining common areas, and washrooms, mopping, sweeping, and wiping down the glass and other surfaces.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Cleaning of all hard floor surfaces, carpet extraction, cleaning of surfaces
• Collection and removal of garbage from drop points to a garbage compactor
• Maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working condition
• Monitor and report any repairs or required replacements

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Must be able to safety operate cleaning equipment and machinery, including ride-on, walk-behind and portable extractor machines
• WHMIS Certification is an asset
• Physical stamina and mobility including the ability to reach, kneel and bend
• Ability to lift, push and pull required load (up to 50lbs)
