BEST is a leader in custodial and maintenance services, recruiting a Heavy Duty Custodian in Mississauga, ON. You will keep common areas and washrooms clean and inviting, and maintain floors, surfaces, and glass to uphold a welcoming environment.

Shifts include morning, afternoon and night hours. CAD 20.30–22.60 per hour, with opportunities for on-the-job training and career advancement within a growing company. A Canadian background check is required.

Formación

• Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment including ride-on, walk-behind and portable extractor machines.
• WHMIS certification is an asset.
• Physical stamina and mobility including the ability to reach, kneel and bend.
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.

Responsabilidades

• Cleaning of all hard floor surfaces, carpet extraction, cleaning of surfaces.
• Collection and removal of garbage from drop points to a garbage compactor.
• Maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working condition.
• Monitor and report any repairs or required replacements.

JOB OVERVIEW

You will be responsible for making sure your building looks clean, presentable, and inviting at all times. Some of the duties and responsibilities include maintaining common areas, and washrooms, mopping, sweeping, and wiping down the glass and other surfaces.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Cleaning of all hard floor surfaces, carpet extraction, cleaning of surfaces
