Summary

The Cleaner will be responsible for a designated job site contracted to BGIS for service. They will perform cleaning duties as per the client contract, adhering to health and safety practices with professionalism, aiming to exceed client expectations.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

1. Perform cleaning duties including dusting furniture, emptying waste baskets, spot cleaning walls and surfaces, cleaning washrooms, dusting baseboards, vacuuming carpets, and cleaning kitchen areas.
2. Notify management of any deficiencies or repairs needed.
3. Follow health and safety regulations and company policies.
4. Other duties as assigned, depending on the work site.

Knowledge & Skills

• Minimum 1-year experience in industrial or commercial cleaning.
• Self-motivated, willing to learn, able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude towards Environment, Health, and Safety.
• Knowledge of industry standards such as WHMIS.
