Job Description

This position is for our Laurier Manor Home, located at 1715 Montreal Rd, Ottawa, Ontario. Available opportunities include: Casual; Days/Evenings and Weekends. Shifts include: Days (6:00-14:00, 7:00-15:00, 10:00-18:00), Evenings (13:00-21:00), Weekends (Saturday and Sunday).

What You’ll Be Doing

• Adhere to policies on infection prevention, safety, and quality assurance.
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and mandatory education.
• Collaborate with other departments on tasks like transferring residents, supplies, and maintenance.
• Perform cleaning duties such as vacuuming, mopping, disinfecting floors, cleaning walls, windows, and furniture, and waste removal.
• Clean and disinfect resident rooms, including deep cleaning as needed.
• As a Laundry Aide, operate industrial washing machines and dryers, handle linen, and organize clothing.
• Ensure resident privacy during duties.
