Job summary

Homestead Land Holdings Limited is seeking a Cleaner in London, ON to keep lobbies, hallways and amenity spaces clean and welcoming. You will handle trash, recycling and routine sanitation while following established cleaning schedules and safety protocols.

Responsibilities include floor care, elevator and laundry area upkeep, and preparing vacant units for new tenants. This role requires reliability and good customer service, with weekend rotation every other week.

Qualifications

• Previous professional cleaning experience preferred
• Ability to lift up to 20 kg (e.g., trash bags, cleaning equipment)
• Reliability, attention to detail, and safe work practices are essential
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Excellent Customer Service Skills

Responsibilities

• Sweeping, Mopping, Dusting, Vacuuming, etc.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of elevators, lounges, laundry rooms, Fitness rooms
• Tenant units upon vacancy (including bathrooms, kitchens (ovens & fridges))
• Winter snow removal
• Other duties as required

Position: Cleaner

Hours: 40 hours per week, includes weekend shifts every other week

Compensation Range (includes salary & shift premium): $41,500-$47,000

Description

As a Cleaner at Homestead, you will help us to maintain the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of our spaces. This includes regularly cleaning lobbies, hallways, elevators, stairwells, laundry rooms, and amenity spaces. You will ensure garbage and recycling rooms are well maintained. Help maintain a clean, welcoming environment for residents and visitors while following established cleaning routines.
