Job summary

Scrubbed Green Cleaning in Kentville, NS seeks a Cleaner to join the team. The role offers permanent employment on a part-time basis with shifts including Day, On Call, Flexible Hours, Early Morning and Morning.

Six positions are available. Duties include cleaning floors and furniture, vacuuming, disinfecting bathrooms, and general light housekeeping. Training will be provided and candidate must be able to travel between sites if required.

Qualifications

• Fluent English is required.
• There are no standard education requirements; training will be provided.
• Must be able to handle up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
• Candidate should be punctual, dependable and honest.
• Must be flexible and able to work independently and as a team member.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors.
• Dust furniture.
• Vacuum carpets, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
• Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
• Pick up debris and empty trash cans.
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.

• The candidate must sweep, mop, wash and polish floors.

• The candidate will be responsible for vacuuming carpets, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.

• The candidate will be responsible for picking up debris and emptying trash cans.
• The candidate must perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
