Job Description

WHAT'S THE JOB?

Dexterra is seeking Cleaning Staff for various full and part-time positions. This role is safety sensitive and requires passing a background check as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting and disinfecting, with specific duties varying by client location.
2. Complete work to high-quality standards.
3. Adhere to scheduled days and hours.
4. Read and explain MSDS sheets; training provided.
5. Complete required safety training.

Qualifications:

1. Effective communication with customers and co-workers.
2. Team-oriented and detail-focused.
3. Self-motivated.
4. Enjoy hands-on work.
5. WHMIS certification (training provided).
6. Federal Government Clearance required; priority given to those with existing clearance.
7. First aid training is an asset.
8. Must reside in Canada and pass a Criminal Background Check.

Physical Requirements:

1. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment requiring good physical and mental health.
2. Capability to bend, turn, stoop, stand, reach, lift up to 25 lbs for 3-4 hours per shift.
3. Perform repetitive manual tasks daily.
4. Walk extensive floor areas.
