Job summary

Cleantech in Burnaby is seeking a Full-Time Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness of a high-rise residential building. You will handle cleaning of common areas, restock supplies, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for residents.

The role requires reliability, good communication, and the ability to work independently. English proficiency is essential; Tagalog is a plus. Work hours are 8:00 am–4:00 pm, Monday–Friday, in Burnaby near Metrotown.

Join Our Team as a Cleaner.

We are currently looking for a Full-Time Cleaner for a high-rise residential building located in Burnaby, near Metrotown. The building consists of 42 floors. The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the building’s common areas and ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Cleaning of residential and commercial properties
• Replenish supplies such as soaps, paper towels and toilet paper
• Cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, sweeping, waxing floors and vacuuming
• Cleaning spills, broken glass and other messes up as quickly as possible
• Coordinating duties with other cleaners
• Performing maintenance activities related to cleaning such as ensuring bathrooms are sanitary
• Ordering new cleaning supplies as needed

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Cleaning experience is an asset
• Reliable and a good communicator
• Excellent time management skills
• Effective verbal and written communication in English
• Must be proactive and be able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Fluency in Tagalog is preferred but not required.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Pay rate: $20 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Working hours: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
• Monday - Friday
• Start date: ASAP
