Job summary

Emissions Reduction Alberta is hiring a Technology Evaluation and Portfolio Analyst to support a cross‑functional team delivering clean‑fuel funding programs across Canada. The role focuses on intake and evaluation, reviewing proposals, and preparing decision‑ready information for project deployment.

The position offers a hybrid work arrangement with potential remote days in Canada and a collaborative team environment, reporting to the Technology Director.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in engineering, science, environmental studies, business, economics, or finance.
• Two to four years of relevant experience in research, analysis, evaluation, or program delivery.
• Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to summarize findings clearly.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and Power Query, and experience with dashboards.
• Experience preparing dashboards, briefing materials, and management reports.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, and multi‑tasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support intake and evaluation activities across proposal intake and evaluation.
• Review applications for completeness, eligibility, and alignment with requirements.
• Conduct research on technologies, markets, and emissions‑reduction potential.
• Prepare evaluation summaries, briefing materials, and technical recommendations.
• Assist in coordinating proposal reviews, presentations, and timelines.
• Maintain data quality and templates; track metrics and status.
