Job summary

Mission Public School District invites applications for the position of Classroom Teacher at École Mission Central Elementary. This is a 1.0 FTE, temporary role for Grade 4/5 French Immersion, starting October 13, 2026, to June 30, 2027 or until the incumbent returns.

Qualifications include a Bachelor of Education and/or PDP, recent experience in primary/intermediate teaching, and bilingual FR/EN with DELF B2 or district French exam.

• Has a minimum B2 level DELF communication skills in French or has successfully passed the district French qualifications exam.

The starting annual salary for this position ranges from $61, 502-$112,806, with placement on the range based on length of service, FTE and qualifications in accordance with the Collective Agreement.
