Job summary

Northern Lights School Division is seeking a Classroom Complexity Teacher for Hector Thiboutot School in Sandy Bay for the 2026/27 school year. The role is full-time continuing with eligibility for the provincial salary grid and a benefits package including subsidized housing and a northern living allowance.

Moving assistance may be available, and there is emphasis on inclusive education, teamwork, and adapting instruction to meet diverse learning needs.

Qualifications

• Saskatchewan Teaching Certificate or eligibility.
• Coursework in Special/Inclusive Education is an asset.
• Knowledge of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit languages, histories, and cultures.
• Minimum of 5 years classroom teaching experience.
• Knowledge and experience applying best practices in instruction, differentiation, curriculum, environment and assessment.
• Demonstrated ability to work well within a team as well as independently.

Responsibilities

• Work within a team to help address issues of classroom complexity and provide targeted supports, including behavioural interventions and adapted programming.
• Other duties as assigned by school administration.
