Job summary

Northern Lights School Division No. 113 in La Loche is seeking a 2026/27 Classroom Complexity Teacher at Dene High School.

This full-time, permanent position begins August 26, 2026 and involves collaborative, inclusive classroom support for diverse learners. The successful candidate will work in a team to address complex learning needs, provide one-on-one or small group programming, and apply best practices in instruction and assessment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years classroom teaching experience.
• Knowledge of First Nations, Metis, and Inuit languages, histories, and cultures.
• Knowledge and experience applying best practices in instruction, differentiation, curriculum, environment and assessment.

Responsibilities

• Work within a team to address complexity in programming, including one-on-one or small group interventions and modifications of programming.
• Provide counselling services and support self-regulation education.
• Other duties as assigned by school administration.
