Responsibilities

• Haul Construction Trailer to and from site.
• Haul material to site.
• Perform pre-trip inspections of allocated vehicle and periodically during shift.
• Operate trucks/equipment safely and carry out duties as assigned.
• Load, transport and unload equipment and materials per company and regulatory guidelines.
• Ensure vehicle and axle weights meet regulatory requirements.
• Secure loads (equipment and material) per company and legislated rules.
• Maintain accurate daily work orders and log books as required.
• Perform labour duties as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

• Must possess a valid Class 3 driver’s license or Q Endorsement, with a recent and clean driver's abstract;
• Minimum of 1 years of hauling experience including construction trailer and tandems;
• Knowledge of legal weight requirements;
• Knowledge of load securement;
• Must get along well with others;
• Must be a team player;
• Must have good communication (verbal and written) skills;
• Must be able to work construction hours.

DUTIES:

• Haul Construction Trailer to and from site;
• Haul material to site;
• Completes a thorough pre-trip inspection of assigned vehicle and periodically throughout shift;
• Operates Trucks/Equipment in a safe and effective manner, carrying out assigned duties;
• Load, transport and unload equipment and materials according to company and as per legislative guidelines;
• Ensure vehicles and axle weights meet regulatory requirements;
• Secures loads (equipment & material) according to company and legislated requirements;
• Maintains accurate daily work order & log books as required;
