Position Summary

Primary role is to operate a straight truck with a capacity of up to 3 tons to transport a variety of goods and materials. Responsibilities include safely loading and unloading cargo, securing loads for transportation, and planning efficient delivery routes.

  • Location: Regina, SK
  • Schedule: 5 days a week (must be willing to work over the Weekend and Holidays)
  • Start Time: 4:00 AM - 5:00 AM
  • Combination of City and Regional Work
  • Covering Regina and Surrounding areas

What you will do

  • Operates vehicle safely and responsibly, adhering to all DOT and company safety regulations.
  • Conducts routine inspections prior to departure to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition.
  • Manages appropriate cargo documentation and provides necessary paperwork upon the delivery of goods.
  • Coordinates the loading and unloading of the truck, verifying cargo and ensuring items are properly stored and secured.
  • Maintains contact with dispatcher to provide status updates, clarify special instructions, and notify about delays or issues during transport.
  • Reliable, flexible, punctual and safe driving behaviors.
  • Ensure customer delivery is met in a timely, safe and professional manner.

What You’ll Bring

  • Valid Class 5 License is required.
  • Clean 5 years Commercial driving abstract (no more than 3 demerits and 3 negative events).
  • Minimum 1+ years of Highway and Winter driving experience required.
  • Comfortable with smartphone technology.
  • Must be willing to load/unload and be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
  • Comfortable backing in all manner of tight spaces and locations.
  • Must be bondable and legally able to work in Canada.
