GFL Environmental is looking for a Driver to join our team in Regina, SK!

GFL Environmental is seeking a Class 1 or 3 Truck Driver based out of our Regina location. As a GFL Truck Driver (Roll Off/Front-end), you will be responsible for safely, efficiently, and courteously providing waste removal services to customers across multiple lines of business. The Driver will collect waste from customer sites and transport it to disposal facilities.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License; Class 1a preferred.
  • At least one (1) year of commercial driving experience or CDL school certificate.
  • Ability to meet safety-sensitive criteria per company standards.
  • Ability to safely operate trucks and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate various vehicle types, including automatic and standard transmissions, on collection routes for waste, yard waste, or recyclables, with routes varying daily.
  • Complete safety inspections, route sheets, and related documentation daily.
  • Operate trucks using prescribed techniques to prevent mechanical failures.
  • Follow all safety standards, perform equipment checks, and comply with safety and vehicle operation laws.
  • Maintain accurate service records.
  • Perform route observations and report findings as required.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Understanding of truck components and basic maintenance for safe operation.
  • Skill in maneuvering trucks into tight spaces using mirrors, with distances of 120+ feet.
  • Physical ability to lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 50 pounds using proper techniques.
