Job summary

Fries Tallman Lumber (1976) Ltd. in Saskatchewan is seeking a highly energetic, reliable delivery driver to load/unload lumber and materials and safely deliver loads to customer sites.

Candidates should have a Saskatchewan Driver's Licence with a clean abstract, 6 months of commercial driving experience, and the ability to operate a manual transmission; forklift certification is an asset. Familiarity with Regina and surrounding areas is preferred, and a comprehensive benefits package is offered

Qualifications

• Load/unload lumber and materials safely and efficiently.
• Deliver loads to customer sites while complying with safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Help load/unload lumber & materials.
• Safely pick up and deliver loads to customer sites.
• Check loads before transport.
• Adhere to safety policies and traffic laws.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks.

Fries Tallman Lumber is one of the oldest independently owned retail lumberyards in Saskatchewan. We are seeking a highly energetic, reliable delivery drivers.

Daily duties include but are not limited to:

• Help load/unload lumber & materials
• Safely pick up and deliver loads to customer sites
• Check loads
• Adhere to all safety policies and traffic laws
• Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks
• Product knowledge is an asset

Requirements

• Saskatchewan Driver's Licence with a clean driver's abstract
• knowledge of Building materials is an asset
• 6 months experience driving a commercial vehicle
• Ability to operate manual transmission
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs
• Familiar with Regina and surrounding areas
• Class 5A
• Forklift certification is an asset
• Familiarity with building materials and lumber an asset
