Job summary

Fries Tallman Lumber (1976) Ltd. is seeking a highly energetic yard attendant to join our Saskatchewan team. The role involves assisting with deliveries, loading shingles and drywall, and helping load trucks in a safe, efficient manner.

You will work closely with a driver, report damages, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. A forklift certification and the ability to lift 80 lbs are assets, along with familiarity with building materials.

Qualifications

• Requires physical strength and stamina.
• Ability to lift 80lbs repeatedly.
• Authorized to work in Canada.

We are seeking a highly energetic, reliable yard attendants.

Daily duties include but are not limited to:

• Work closely with a driver to ensure safe and efficient delivery of product
• Loading rooftops with bundles of shingles on both 2 story and bungalow
• Carry and deliver various sizes of drywall
• Assist with loading trucks
• Report damages and returned items
• Use proper material handling techniques to ensure minimal damage to inventory
• Comply with all health and safety rules, regulations and laws

Requirements:

• Requires physical strength and stamina
• Previous experience/familiarity of working at heights preferred
• Ability to lift 80lbs repeatedly
• Forklift certification is an asset
• Familiarity with building materials and lumber an asset
• Authorized to work in Canada
