Job summary

Manitoulin Transport, a North American logistics leader with 65 years of experience, is seeking a Local Driver to serve Saskatoon and surrounding communities. You will handle local deliveries, plan and load freight, and maintain a regular daytime schedule from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with flexibility to meet customer needs.

Requirements include a Class 5 license, 1 year of city pickup and delivery, reliability, physical fitness, and the ability to obtain a criminal record

Qualifications

• Class 5 license required.
• At least 1 year of city pickup and delivery experience.
• Reliable and dependable with safety awareness.
• Physical fitness and ability to lift/load freight.
• Must provide criminal record check, driver’s abstract, and two references.

Responsibilities

• Complete local deliveries within Saskatoon and surrounding area.
• Plan, load, and unload freight for customers.
• Adhere to schedule: 7:00 am–6:00 pm, Monday–Friday, with flexibility to meet customer needs.

Job Description

This driver is responsible for completing local deliveries within Saskatoon and the surrounding area promptly by carrying and using a wheeler, a pallet jack, and a tailgate as required. Must be able to plan, load, and unload freight to a variety of customers in the Saskatoon area. A schedule consists of working hours: 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with the flexibility to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Class 5 license
• 1 year of City Pick-up and Delivery experience
• Reliable and dependable
• PHYSICALLY FIT
• TDG, WHMIS, and Forklift experience are assets
• Must be able to provide a criminal record check, driver's abstract, and 2 work-related references.
