Job summary

Manitoulin Transport is seeking a Class 5, 5-ton Operator for City P&D Saskatoon. This full-time role handles local deliveries in Saskatoon and surrounding areas using a wheeler, pallet jack, and tailgate as needed.

The position requires a Class 5 license and about 1 year of city pick-up and delivery experience, with reliability and physical fitness. TDG/WHMIS awareness and forklift experience are assets; references and driver checks are required.

Qualifications

• Class 5 license required.
• About 1 year of city pick-up and delivery experience required.
• Reliable and dependable candidate with good work ethic.
• Must be physically fit and able to handle the demands of local deliveries.
• TDG, WHMIS, and forklift experience are assets.
• Must provide a criminal record check, driver’s abstract, and 2 references.

Responsibilities

• Complete local deliveries in Saskatoon and surrounding area promptly using wheeler, pallet jack, and tailgate as needed.
• Plan, load and unload freight to various customers in the Saskatoon area; maintain schedule Mon-Fri with occasional flexibility.

• Full-time
• Compensation: CAD 26 - CAD 42 - hourly

This driver is responsible for completing local deliveries in Saskatoon and the surrounding area promptly, using a wheeler, pallet jack, and tailgate as needed. They must be able to plan, load, and unload freight to a variety of customers in the Saskatoon area. The normal work week is Monday to Friday; however, occasional flexibility in availability may be required.

• Class 5license

• PHYSICALLY FIT
