Job summary

Otter Farm & Home Co-operative is seeking a Class 3 driver for hauling petroleum products within British Columbia. The ideal candidate should have 3+ years of commercial driving experience, a clean abstract, and strong customer service skills.

• This position is physically demanding; able to perform lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs.

What you’ll do

• Hauling bulk petroleum products to customer locations within BC
• Filling equipment, generators, and fuel tanks in pits at customer locations
• Following all loading and unloading procedures
• Completing all pre and post trip inspections daily, communicating when repairs are required
• Confirming the nature of each delivery and any special considerations prior to leaving
• Maintaining positive working relationships and communicating regularly with Dispatch/Office Staff
• Ensuring all commercial driving regulations and safety protocols are followed
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety
• Contributing to the team by living the corporate values of Integrity, Community, and Excellence
• Performing other duties as assigned

Who you are

• Must have open availability to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, weekdays, weekends, and preference for afternoon availability
• This position will be primarily based out of our Chilliwack Bulk Petroleum office but may require travel to our Langley (Aldergrove) Bulk Petroleum Facility
