Job summary

Sunrise Chick Sales, a division of Sunrise Farms in Abbotsford, seeks a full-time Class 3 Driver for 4x10 shifts (5:30am–4:00pm) with overtime as needed. Role combines heavy manual labor in a barn setting with driving responsibilities along the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley.

Applicants must have a Class 3 license (1 year), good driving record, fluent English, legible handwriting, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks; position is non-seasonal with career advancement

Qualifications

• Be fluent in English – spoken and written
• Legible handwriting required
• Class 3 Driver’s License with minimum 1 year experience and penalty points <=4
• Current and original drivers abstract + accident history report
• Successful completion of road tests
• Knowledge of Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley

Responsibilities

• Perform heavy manual work including loading/unloading live chicks in a barn environment
• Operate as a driver on a 4x10 schedule (Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri) with possible overtime as needed

One Full Time Class 3 Driver (5:30am - 4:00pm) 4x10 hour shifts on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (with overtime required when needed)

Applicants Must

• Be able to perform heavy manual work including frequent hand trucking over long distances. This job is 75% labour and 25% driving.
• Be fluent in English – spoken and written. Legible handwriting a must
• Have Class 3 Driver’s License minimum 1 year experience/qualification with no more than 4 penalty points in the current year, including no 24 suspensions in the prior 5 years
• Have current and original drivers abstract + accident history report
• Have successful completion of road tests
• Have knowledge of Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley
