Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a Class 3/1 Operator to join the Vacuum Truck Services team in Victoria.

You will perform hydro excavating, septic service, spill cleanup, line flushing, power washing, water hauling, and loading/hauling of fluids and materials with a focus on safety, professionalism, and teamwork. The role requires a valid Class 3A or 1A CDL with a clean record, the ability to drive a manual transmission, and values strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 3A or 1A Commercial Driver’s License.
• Must be able to drive a manual transmission.
• Vacuum truck and/or hydro-excavating experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Operate vacuum equipment safely in an industrial setting.
• Provide exceptional service to all clients and professionally represent GFL.
• Complete daily equipment pre-trips and driver logs required for NSC compliance.
• Maintain detailed and accurate company documentation to accompany work performed.
• Participate in safety programs such as job hazard assessments.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

The Class 3/1 Operator will work with the Vacuum Truck Services team to provide exceptional service to our clients. The chosen individual will perform this diverse range of activities with a focus on safety, professionalism, and teamwork.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate vacuum equipment safely in an industrial setting.
• Provide exceptional service to all clients and professionally represent GFL.
• Complete daily equipment pre-trips and driver logs required for NSC compliance.
• Maintain detailed and accurate company documentation to accompany work performed.
• Participate in safety programs such as job hazard assessments.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Valid Class 3A or 1A Commercial Driver’s License and a fairly clean Commercial Drivers Abstract.
• Must be able to drive a manual transmission.
• Vacuum truck and/or hydro-excavating experience is an asset.
